Freezing and Drying Foods Workshop
The gardens are planted and now harvest time is fast approaching. There is a shortage of canning lids this year due to the increase in gardening and food preservation. We are offering a workshop to teach you some safe ways to dry and freeze fruits, vegetables and meats. The class is offered FREE but you need to call your local Extension office to register. The class will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. You may choose the class you prefer to attend.
