The 80th Anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor, and Now for the Rest of the Story!

Mrs. Carolyn Mitchell, Commemorative Event Chair of Martha Dandridge Washington Chapter NSDAR and President of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3380, Dandridge, TN, will be the guest speaker. Mitchell a Military wife and the daughter of Wallace Wright, a WWII Pacific War Veteran, who fought to liberate various island chains in the Pacific. Wright was a soldier who participated in “island hopping” in the Pacific Theatre of the war. Mrs. Mitchell’s love for our Country and history will bring to life “December 7, 1941, a date which will live in infamy.” (President Franklin D. Roosevelt) for the attendees. Refreshments will be served at 4:00 and the program will begin at 4:30 pm.
