The Jefferson County Chapter of the League of Women Voters will meet at the Jefferson City Library meeting room on Tuesday, March 8th at 7 p.m. Wearing of masks is encouraged and masks will be provided, if needed. The public is welcome to attend.

The speaker for this meeting will be Stewart Clifton, the League of Women Voters’ lobbyist with the Tennessee General Assembly. He will be speaking to the group over Zoom and will talk about bills before the Assembly. He will take questions after his presentation. This should be a good opportunity to learn about upcoming legislation and what we can do to make our voices heard by our representatives.
