Holy Week Services, April 11-15

This year we will gather at Dandridge First UMC on Monday and Tuesday, Hopewell Presbyterian on Wednesday and Friday and Dandridge Full Gospel on Thursday. Services begin at Noon. We open with prayer and a Hymn, read scripture, have special music provided by each church and a short meditation ending with a Hymn and a blessing of our lunch. Each church provides lunch as their contribution to the scholarship fund which the Dandridge Ministerial Association awards each year to graduating seniors at the High School. Cost of the Meal is $5.00. We currently provide 4 ($500.00) scholarships and will be happy to do more if more people attend and support the meal. Please join us and prepare yourselves for Easter.
The National Day of Prayer this year is on May 5th and will be held at Noon in the Old Court House in downtown Dandridge inside in the court room. This marks the 70th National Day of Payer and this years theme is from the book of Colossians 2:6-7 “6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Of all that is going on in our world, we as a community need to be in corporate prayer and this is one way to do it. Please join us on the 5th of May.
Grounded in Grace meets every Sunday at 11am. We are located at 830 S. Hwy. 92, for those who have been here a while we are in the old video store, now an Auction House located next to Owen’s restaurant. on the interstate side. Come early and partake of snacks, coffee and fellowship. If you are looking for a church that teaches only what the Bible tells us, then come on by and give us a try.
