Stephanie Woods and District Attorney General Jimmy Dunn

The Tennessee District Attorneys General Conference gathered in October for its annual fall conference. Among the proceedings of the three-day event is an opportunity for the state’s District Attorneys and their staffs to be recognized by the TNDAGC Executive Committee and their peers for accomplishments and service.

Stephanie Gray Woods, the Administrative Assistant for 4th Judicial District Attorney General Jimmy B. Dunn, was awarded the Tony Clark Award at this year’s conference on October 26, 2022.

Stephanie exhibits the highest character on a daily basis, demonstrating kindness, professionalism and a constant consideration of others,” said General Dunn. “For 16 years, Stephanie has made personal and professional sacrifices in the performance of her duties, serving as an example for which the Conference stands. She is truly one-of-a-kind.”

Since 2018, the prestigious award has been presented annually in memory of the late District Attorney General Tony Clark to the non-prosecutor staff member of the Tennessee District Attorney General Conference who demonstrates exceptional compassion, care, and dedication to victims of crime.

I am very honored to receive the Tony Clark award,” said Woods. It means so much to me and I will continue to serve the citizens of the Fourth District to the best of my ability each day. It is a great honor to work for General Dunn and the citizens of the Fourth District.
