Tennessee Valley Fair receives honor for the ninth year

The Tennessee Valley Fair has been selected as one of Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events for the month of September 2013.

Each year, thousands of events across the Southeast compete to receive the prestigious Top 20 Events designation. Southeast Tourism Society accepts nominations throughout the year and chooses the Top 20 events in the Southeast for each month of the year. The winners are published quarterly and the Tennessee Valley Fair has received this distinction eight of the last ten years.

The Southeast Tourism Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and development of tourism throughout the Southeast. Founded in 1983, STS highlights outstanding events in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

The 94th annual Tennessee Valley Fair is scheduled for September 6-15.
