Old Man Winter’s Chilly Reminder

After days of above average temperatures, Old Man Winter gave a chilly reminder that Winter isn’t over yet. Scattered snow showers in the early hours of Saturday morning turned into flurries that were off and on throughout the day. Sunday, temperatures had a hard time rebounding, barely breaking the 40 degree mark. This week looks to be up and down until Thursday, when the temperatures are expected to hit the mid to upper fifties for the remainder of the month, making those tulips breaking ground much happier. Snowy mountain scenes, like the view from Dandridge on Saturday afternoon, may soon be hard to come by, as Winter has it last hurrah and Spring lies waiting in the wings.
