Long before the first student takes the stage for the Senior Class play, David Seal and some very industrious students are hard at work building and creating sets. A few of those students were working evenings last week in preparation of the fast approaching debut of the Senior Class of 2013’s rendition of Footloose. The play will have showings on March 21-24 in Gentry Auditorium at Carson Newman University and the cost of tickets is $10 each. David Seal and his students will be busy putting the final touches on the intricate scenes that are such a part of the exceptional quality of the show. The Senior Play takes months of preparation and dedication on the part of all involved, from actors and stage hands to directors, production teams and artist. Talented Seniors never fail to provide a professional quality performance to a packed house and this year’s offering is expected to meet the high bar of years past.
