SAMUEL DOAK CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution

Daughters of the American Revolution logoRevolution located at the Woman’s Club House in Morristown was founded 102 years ago on the principes of :  Preservation, Education, and Patriotism.  The chapter would like to promote public awareness of One of the NSDAR Goals:   Education by sponsoring a Samuel Doak Chapter Scholarship in the amount of $500.00 to each of the Four High Schools within the chapter organization:  Hamblen County – East and West High School, Jefferson County – Jefferson County High School, and Grainger County-Grainger High School.

High School Seniors from each of the three counties are invited to participate in this scholarship.  Please inquire at your high school guidance counselor’s office for the requirements, procedures, and application deadline.  Samuel Doak Chapter, NSDAR is privileged to award these scholarships through the generosity of the business owners and chapter members of the three counties that contributed money by purchasing a chapter yearbook advertisement enabling the chapter to award $500.00 to each of the high schools in the three counties.
