Lauren Hurdle, Public Relations & Marketing

The Jefferson County Post welcomes the newest addition to our staff. Lauren Hurdle has joined the Post as Public Relations and Marketing Manager. Lauren is a relatively new resident of Jefferson County, as she moved here two years ago from Swansboro, North Carolina, and has become active in the community. Born and raised in the Highlands area of North Carolina, she met her husband, Travis, while attending Western Carolina University. Travis, an archeologist with CRA, made a career move to East Tennessee and he and Lauren explored several surrounding counties before deciding to relocate in Jefferson County. According to Lauren, it was the strong community feel and southern hospitality that drew her family to the area. The Mother of twin kindergarten students at Piedmont Elementary School, she and her husband have quickly become a part of the local community. Musicians, composers and sports fans who are active participants in organizations such as the PTO and the Lion’s Club, Lauren and Travis have a great appreciation for Jefferson County.    Lauren has already made her debut for the Post at the recent Home Expo in Dandridge and will be a regular face at events in the County. This is an exciting time at the Jefferson County Post, as we welcome Lauren to the Post family.
