Locals took advantage of the up swing in weather conditions and came out on Friday evening for the First Friday event at Dandridge Pizza and More. First Friday Band Grits played to a packed house eager to dust off the confines of the recent dreary days and enjoy an evening of good music and good food. Grits has a strong following and most weekends will find them playing at different venues in area. The band just released their debut cd titled Tennessee Weather, which spotlights some of their original music.  Grits ushers in the new month on every first Friday at the local Italian eatery located in the Food City shopping center in Dandridge.
