INVITATION TO BID

The Jefferson County Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed bids for drilling services at the highway quarry.  Bids will be for one year (1) from July 1, 2013 until June 30th, 2014.

The bid will be to drill approximately 3000 feet of six (6) inch holes at the county quarry in approximately 98% limestone.  All equipment and personnel must meet the Department of Labor, Mine Safety, and Health Administration requirements.  Bid should include a copy of your license and proof of insurance.

All bids should be marked “DRILLING BID”.  For affidavit form and additional information contact Charles Tipton at (865) 397-2155. 

Sealed bids should be mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Teresa Crusenberry, P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN 37725.  Bids will be accepted until 2:00, Thursday,  May 16th, 2013, at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department Conference Room. 

The Finance Director reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any and all irregularities in the receipt/handling and acceptance of bids.
