Griffin announces hitting and pitching camp dates, June 10-13, 2013

Carson-Newman head baseball coach Tom Griffin has set the Eagles’ all-phases, hitting and pitching camps for the middle of June.

The all-phases camp is set from June 10-13 from 9 a.m. to noon. The hitting camp runs Jun 17-18 and the pitching camp June 19-20.

The all-phases camp is geared toward ages 6-13 and covers baseball skills from hitting and fielding to team defense and bunting. The cost per player is 90 dollars.

The hitting and pitching camps are split into two sessions. The 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. session is for players ages 6-13, while the 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. session is geared toward high school players.

The hitting camp will work on all fundamentals and drills for hitting and bunting while the pitching camp will introduce drills and strength training specific for pitchers.
