The Complete Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook

book-binding-mustreadGraduation time is upon us and the invitations and announcements are piling up in the mail box. I love to give books as gifts and I usually customize the book to the person. Sometimes, however, it is hard to know what to get a graduate just entering college or looking for their first real job. For example, Twilight may be all the rage for the teenage set but many college grads may not be into the vampire love triangle genre. Likewise, many high school graduates are not into books on creating the perfect resume. Most graduates do enjoy a good laugh and that is why I am recommending a go to book for all your graduation gift needs. One thing in life is certain. Stuff happens and it usually throws a monkey wrench your way at the most awkward moments. Sometimes the difference in success and failure is the ability to laugh. The Complete Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook by Piven and Borqenicht is a funny, entertaining read that can make even the darkest day a little brighter. Granted some of the topics and situations coved in the book are adult in nature but it is mild compared to the average college dorm. I have given this book several times and it is always a hit. Sometimes it is nice to step away from the serious and traditional and have a good laugh. If you have a hard to buy for graduate on your gift list this year, pick up a copy of The Complete Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook. Life is serious but reading doesn’t have to always be and sometimes a good book takes on strange forms. Teach your favorite graduate to celebrate all of life’s ups and downs with this truly funny book. It is the gift that keeps on giving.
