Attention all Chamber members!

With July kicking off our new fiscal year and many changes happening for us, we want to make our Membership Breakfasts more exciting and fun- starting off with renaming them as “Commerce, Conversation & Breakfast”!

We also want to announce some events we’re planning for the fall!!!

The Chamber is having a celebration for 20 years of Jefferson County being part of Imagination Library on Oct 4th!

A new Chamber event, a Business Expo on Oct 9th!

A Member Appreciation tailgating event at Carson Newman’s homecoming game Oct 25th!

A 5k to benefit the Education Foundation on Nov 8th! ‍♀️

The 14th Annual East Tennessee Literacy Conference will feature author and educator Temple Grandin as keynote speaker! Over 20 breakout sessions will be offered, along with favorite vendors, book buses and terrific food.

Work-Based Learning (WBL) offers the opportunity for students to gain hands-on “21st century” workplace skills and to test their academic knowledge in the real world. Students must complete courses in the CTE program of study and complete safety training before entering the Work-Based Learning Career Practicum work experience. This program centers on varying levels of engagement from community businesses and industry to provide authentic learning experiences for students. This is an opportunity for students to hone their craft and provides employers a pipeline for future employees.
