Jefferson Cocke County Utility District, a natural gas and propane provider, is seeking a motivated individual for Financial Manager / Controller to oversee accounting, financial statements, payroll, accounts payable, and assist with purchased gas adjustment (PGA) calculations.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required, 5 years minimum experience in fiscal operations of a public utility and CPA preferred.

Excellent pay and benefits.

We need YOUR help! Every year, we host a big Christmas Party for our CASA kiddos! We provide toys for everyone, dinner, treats, cookies to decorate, a hot chocolate station, and much more! Join us at the library from 10AM-3PM for holiday festivities, including food, games and a visit from Santa. We will also screen “The Santa Clause” starring Tim Allen. All are welcome!

Join us to celebrate the season with our resident band Mossy Creek Symphony, for a special holiday concert! We’ll feature all the classic holiday favorites. Gather in front of our cozy fireplace in the main section of the library. Enjoy homemade cookies and hot chocolate (while supplies last). Seating is limited but all are welcome to attend!

We’re getting ready to support students and families across Jefferson County as they head into the second half of the school year. At this year’s event, students will receive warm winter clothes and school supplies, and each family will take home a full box of grocery items to help start the new year feeling supported!
