MARY ANNA JONES

MARY ANNA JONES, age 86, of Sevierville, TN passed away Friday evening, June 7, 2013 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was born May 7, 1927 and was raised in West Charleston, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, Garst and Maude Frantz; brother, John; sisters, Lucille, Pearl, Ada, and Alice. Mary was an active and long-time faithful member of the French Broad Church of the Brethren and enjoyed her many years as a volunteer at the Sevier Co. Hospital. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and who will be truly missed by her surviving husband, Joe A. Jones; sons, Michael and Steven Jones; grandson, Dean and his wife Mary Jones; and her extended family that includes many nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorials be made to the French Broad Church of the Brethren, 3306 Brethren Church Rd. White Pine, TN 37890-4315. Funeral services, Tuesday, 2:30pm at the French Broad Church of the Brethren with Rev. Ron Wine officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
