GEORGIA BETTIS MURPHY, loving mother and grandmother, of Jefferson City, TN and Christiana, TN, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at her home. Georgia and her family have owned and operated Murphy’s Sav Mor Pharmacy since 1969. She is preceded in death by her husband, John F. (Jack) Murphy; her parents, Tom and Cella Bettis; brothers, Lynn Bettis and Merle Bettis. She is survived by her sons, John F. Murphy, Jr. (Jamie) of Jefferson City, and Mark Murphy (Lisa) of Christiana, TN; granddaughters, Brandi and Jacklyn Murphy of Jefferson City, and Taylor M. Murphy of Christiana, TN; sister, Billie Jean Hickman of Jefferson City; several nieces, nephews and cousins; longtime friends, Betty Dalton, Margie Hackney and Sandra Franklin. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Farrar Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m.  ARRANGEMENTS BY FARRAR FUNERAL HOME IN JEFFERSON CITY, TN
