Nighthawks End Season 2-10

The Knoxville Nighthawks went to battle with the first place Alabama Hammers Saturday night at the Knoxville Civic Center Coliseum.  The two teams did battle in a close game through three quarters of play but in the end, the Alabama Hammers won 55-32.

Alabama Hammers quarterback Russell Hill was 26-36 passing for 294 yards and four touchdowns.  Wide receiver  Charlie McClain for the Hammers had 11 catches for 141 yards and one touch down.  Nighthawks  quaterback Anthony Speight was 11 for 19 and 129 yards.  Wide receiver Charles Gilbert had 10 catches for 127 yards and two touchdowns.

The Nighthawks ended the season 2-10.  The Hammers finished in first place and will be the number 1 seed in the PIFL playoff that begin July 1.
