The thirty eighth annual Charity Horse Show was held in Chestnut Hill on June 27^th and June 28, 2013. More than 40 events were available for horses and their riders during the two evening event. Locals and visitors lined the Chestnut Hill Park, many as returning spectators and some new to the popular competition. Proceeds from the event go to support the Chestnut Hill Volunteer Fire Department and the competition serves as one of the major fundraising events for the department. The Charity Show offers equestrian enthusiasts the opportunity to indulge a favorite hobby while donating to a worthwhile cause.
