Jay Storm and GRITS July 13th at Dumplin Valley Concert Series

The Dumplin Valley Farm Concert Series continues Saturday July 13th featuring highly acclaimed local group GRITS from Dumplin Valley along with popular R&B / Funk artist Jay Storm. Jaystorm, a Greeneville, Tennessee native and rising favorite Southern bluesy, funk, hip-hop artist, delivers witty lyrics and a bluesy-funk sound that is part Motown, part Old School R&B, part hip-hop, with a rock edge. Jay is one of the most sought after entertainers in the region, performing at venues from universities to retirement parties, as all ages love his music and high energy performance . As Jay says
“For me, the musical magic is when I hit the height of a song and everybody is watching every move I make, and when the song ends, everybody’s applauding so loud I can’t even hear myself speak. That’s when I’ve just delivered my soul to the audience. The feeling of that is unbeatable,” he says, “And I really don’t want to exist without it. It’s a drug that I have to have…. Me without music in my life is like cereal without the milk type thing or even like having love without happiness. I gotta have it”
This event is family friendly and families are encouraged to come together and enjoy a night of good food, music, fellowship and fun. Suggested admission donation is only $5 for adults, $1 for all students ( K->college), children under 5 FREE. The KID ZONE which included a big slide, two bounce houses, cotton candy and snow cones, this year will only be $3 per child or 2 for $5 – basically an on-site baby sitter for the kids to enjoy all evening while the adults enjoy the show, knowing the kids are safe and having fun.
The location for the series is at 549 E. Dumplin Valley Rd Jefferson City (directly across from Mt. Horeb Elem. School) Turn East at Farmers Co Op off Hwy 92
