House fire on Lowery Loop Rd., New Market, TN – Photo submitted by NMVFD Captain Sammy Solomon

The New Market Fire Department responded to a house fire call from a patrolling Jefferson County Police Officer early Thursday on Lowery Loop Rd.  Involved were 3 tankers, 2 engines, a support vehicle and 25 firefighters along with support of an additional truck from Lakeway Central Fire Department.

Captain Sammy Solomon said “it was a total loss”, however “no one was injured.”
