In the world of adventure travel and lifestyle vacations none compare to the new Lumberjack Boot Camp. For 40 years Lumberjack Sports has been a fraternal order that only a very select few were asked to join; those days are gone. The Lumberjack Feud and Lumberjack Sports International have put together a boot camp style experience that catapults a Paul Bunyan wannabe into the center of the sport.

Rob Scheer and his band of Forest Sport experts have trained dozens of World Champions over the past 30 years. With the building of the $12 million dollar state of the art facility, Lumberjack Feud Dinner Show in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee now proudly hosts weekly groups of men and women seeking to enter the Lumberjack competition circuit.

Located in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, the camp features high octane Lumberjack training and adventure opportunities such as white water rafting, zip lining and night time entertainment. That of course depends if you have any energy left over from your quest to become a Lumberjack.

World class trainers will teach the student all there is to know in Lumberjack theory, safety and execution of this sport. The goal is to achieve a certificate that will attest that the student has successfully graduated from this very prestigious Lumberjack Boot Camp. The school isn’t easy. Students will swing axes, pull saws and climb trees. The events that will be covered in the class include chopping, cross cut sawing, chain saw use and safety, axe throwing, tree climbing, log rolling, tool care, safety and much more.

3 and 5 day Camps are offered with your choice of lodging, meals and entertainment.

Some students that have successfully completed the rigorous training will be chosen to compete in the live show known as the Lumberjack Feud. The competition is truly the highlight of the training. Successful students Lumberjack Boot Camp trainees will be allowed to perform in the main event, a live competition in front of hundreds of Lumberjack Fans.

The camp is open to ages 18 and up, male or female. Daily children and family programs are available. For more information or to enroll call 865-428-9666 and ask for Sara.
