New Business

  1. Mack Mull Jr./Eddie Garrett, High/Kerr St., Request for variance on footage required for R-1 District. Lot size did not conform to present lot sizes zoned in R-1 District, but did conform to lot sizes adjacent to the property.  A variance was granted due to the sizes of those in the area.
  2. Recommendation that the Planning Commission revisit lot sizes in R-1 as they are larger than most R-1 Districts.

  3. Edward and Lorraine Terlecki, 127 Golf View Blvd., Country Club Estates –variance request based on topography — approved
  4. Fernando Herrera/Bob Gann and Ed Franklin, 1033 Hwy 92 S, Site Plan Review –Check Cash and Car Lot — approved
  5. Mack Mull Jr./Eddie Garrett, High/Kerr St., 3-5 Lot Subdivision — approved
  6. Paul D. Moody/Robert Jackson III, Cline Road, Site Plan Review — golf range — approved
  7. Discussion regarding locations of Distilleries — Being a premier resort destination, Dandridge is opened for distilleries with on-site outlets.  As we have not designated distilleries in any of our current zones, we need to decide which zones will be appropriate.  A draft will be presented at the July meeting for an amendment to the current B-2, B-3 and M-1 zones for consideration.
  8. Workshops: July 29 and 30 in Jefferson City and November 6, 8:30-12:30 at UT Conference Center, Knoxville.
