Tn Weather couldn’t have been a more appropriate title this week in Jefferson County. Locals struggled to find a little time outside to celebrate the holiday week, however the rain pushed many actives inside or cancelled them all together. One event that enjoyed a rousing success was the First Friday at Dandridge Pizza and More. Local band Grits played to a record breaking number on Friday evening, as people came out looking for good food and music and packed the house. Tn Weather is the title of the new CD release from Grits, giving a nod to the ever changing weather conditions in East Tennessee with a list of predictably good original tunes.  Grits will also be performing at the Dumplin Valley Farm Concert Series on July 13, 2013 with featured guest J Storm, located directly across from Mt. Horeb Elementary School.
