Dandridge Library Knows How To Have A Party
The Dandridge library hosted a party for their summer readers to celebrate all the hard work shown over the past few weeks. Librarian Mrs. Lois said that this was the biggest summer reading group in over six years with over 100 children participating. The party was held on Wednesday, July 11, 2013 at from 10-11 at the Dandridge Field of Dreams Park. Attendants had a wonderful time getting their faces painted, blowing bubbles and catching them into their nets, making and decorating fans. Everyone was delighted that there was pizza and water for lunch followed by super sweet “dirt” that the kids were able to prepare themselves with the worms, cookies and pudding. These librarians really know how to throw a great party!
