The Farmer’s Market, located in the Historic Downtown Square in Dandridge, was in full swing on Saturday as locals came out in force to do a little shopping or pick up a tasty treat. A highly successful venture for the Main Street program in Dandridge, the Saturday market has a true sense of community, as the vendors support each other and promote the entire market’s products. Beyond a bevy of fresh produce, the market offers handmade good and homemade food. Open on Saturday’s until noon, the Dandridge Farmer’s Market is a testament to the results that can come from a community supporting its members and appreciating the benefits of shopping well and shopping local.
