The Dandridge garden club met Thursday at the Dandridge Senior Center for their monthly meeting.  In the meeting they focused on a charity called Random Acts of Flowers by collecting vases and various materials that could be used to make floral arrangements.  Random Acts of Flowers is a non-profit charity improving mental health through the power of giving flowers.  They take the newly made creations to local hospitals and nursing homes to those who may not receive flowers while staying there. Not only did the members of the garden club collect vases and other materials, three members made bouquets to be auctioned off during the meeting.  Doris Cutlip, Judy Moon, and Anna Lee Brown each made a bouquet to be auctioned off. Raffle tickets were sold as well to bring in donations to send to Random Act of Flowers.  All the donations made for the auction, the raffle, and the items brought in will be delivered to the charity Friday by Ann Bloomquist.  The group had collected 113 vases, with an additional 50 during the meeting. The garden club meets every fourth Thursday of each month at 2 pm.
