What can we expect from Fall?

It seems like we have had a lot of rain this year and I was wondering if we are expected to have an equally wet fall and if so, how is that expected to impact our temperatures because this has been a mild, though humid, summer?

It appears that there will be an above average chance of rain in the area during early fall and temperatures are predicted to have equal chances of above and below normal temperatures. According to the weather predication center, late fall will see the area return to more normal precipitation amounts. Keep in mind, the prediction center forecasted above normal temperatures for the summer of 2013 and that has not been the case so take predictions with a grain of salt.
