Hump Day for The Jefferson County Fair

Wednesday is hump day for the Jefferson County Fair, as staff and officials prepare to launch the 2013 Jefferson County Fair on Thursday, August 15th. Gates will open at 5p.m., however between now and then there will be a flurry of activity at the Fair Grounds. While most of the large rides and booths are already assembled, there are still many finishing touches to be done that add the sparkle to the event. Dallas the Camel and a bevy of animals, as well as midway rides, exhibitions and events await fair goers when the gates open on Thursday evening. Until then, Dallas and the rest of the crew will patiently await the highly anticipated kick off for the 70th Jefferson County Fair.
