Free Texas Roadhouse Appetizer for Donors

Medic Regional Blood Center is proud to partner with Texas Roadhouse by offering all donors a coupon for a free appetizer.    “Donations have been slow and we’re hoping that a free appetizer from Texas Roadhouse will help encourage donors to take a few minutes to give the gift of life,” explains Christi Fightmaster, Medic Spokesperson.   Summer months are difficult for community blood centers across the U.S. and Medic is no exception.   With the school year starting and summer winding down, Medic hopes donations will increase.

Community drive is:

• August 28, Leadvale Baptist Church, 1pm – 7pm, Inside Fellowship Hall.

All donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh 110 pounds or more and have positive identification.   16 year-olds weighing 120 pounds or more must have parental consent prior to donating and those forms can be found on Medic’s website:  www.medicblood.org.
