Labor Day Holiday Hours

In light of the upcoming Federal Holiday, Labor Day, which will be celebrated on Monday, September 2, 2013, local municipality and County government offices will be closed. In addition, State and Federal offices, including Postal Service, will also be closed on Monday. Banks, in accordance with the closing of the Federal Reserve System will be closed on Labor Day, as well. Those residents inside the City that generally have garbage pick up service on Monday will be on their regular holiday schedule.

Tennessee Department of Transportation will not continue road work in the area during the Holiday weekend, to accommodate travelers. Local, State and Federal government offices will resume their regular schedules on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. The next Federal Holiday will be Columbus Day, which will be observed on Monday, October 14, 2013.
