Variety Of Fall Flowers

I am looking to do a little fall decorating but I am not crazy about mums. When looking for flowers, it seems that mums are everywhere but very little else. Can you suggest another choice that still has that fall look?

While it is true that mums are the easiest to find, there are other choices that can be easily located. Sunflowers are a wonderful fall flower and they come in a variety of colors. If they are too large for your taste, try the gazanias which are a smaller version of the sunflower. I also like trailing petunias and violets for flower boxes and pots. They can both be found in fall colors. In coordination with pumpkins and gourds, any of these flowers will make lovely and interesting fall decorations.
