Folks attending Music on the Town had their evening cut short, as torrential rains and severe thunderstorms moved into the area during the early part of the evening’s performance. Prior to the sudden change in weather, event goers were listening to the tunes of Steve Rutledge & Stranded. Though the evening’s music was cut short, the early part of the show looked promising for an evening of laid back, quality entertainment. Music on the Town is an annual event that takes place every Thursday evening in September. As always, this year’s line up of talent will certainly provide great shows throughout the month. Bring a chair and a canned food donation and join in the fun next Thursday evening. Food is available for purchase beginning at 6 pm and the show begins at 7pm. Music on the Town is located behind Town Hall in the Historic Town Square in Dandridge.
