White Pine School hosted their 4^th annual 5k run this past Saturday but this year was a first for them also. Instead of a normal 5k, this was the Cyclone Colorstorm 5k. Throughout the run, the participants were sprayed with a variety of colors and as they crossed the finish line were given a color bomb that was used once all runners had completed the course.

This year there were 184 participants for the main run and 66 participants for the kids’ Fun Run. The total amount raised for the White Pine School PTO was around $6500.00 which will be used to purchase new computer equipment for classrooms.
