Lady Patriots Fall To Lady Trojans In Thursday’s Volleyball Action

Thursday, September 19^th, the Lady Patriots faced off against Morristown West’s Lady Trojans. Though the Lady Patriots fell in a 3-1 game split with their neighboring County rivals, they gave a valiant effort until the final whistle. In the first game, the Lady Patriots had a huge rally to close the final score to twenty-five to twenty, with West winning the game. The second game ended with a score of twenty-five to nineteen, once again, going to Morristown West. In the third game Jefferson County rallied and won the game with a score of twenty-five to twenty-three. Morristown West won the fourth and final game with a score of twenty-five to twenty. The Lady Patriots were led by Alli Coffee, Morgan Ridenour, Rachel Leuch, and Abby Bateman. Even in a loss, Jefferson County performed well, maintaining cooperation and team work.  Their next home game will be Tuesday, September 24^th, against Seymour.
