Jefferson County Mayor Palmieri signed a Proclamation declaring September 17-23, 2013, Constitution Week in Jefferson County. September 17, 2013, marked the 226^th anniversary of the drafting of the Constitution of the United States of America. Gloria Beauchamp, Regent, and Margaret Renner, Constitution Chairman of the Samuel Doak Chapter of the National Society of the American Revolution presented to Mayor Palmieri a Constitution Week Committee Certificate Award for Upholding the Constitution of the United States of America.
