Rescue squad members and crewettes from all over Tennessee, including members of the Jefferson County Rescue Squad and Crewettes, were in Pigeon Forge this past weekend for the 58th Annual Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads Convention.

The EMS symposium and convention, held at the Music Road Hotel and Convention Center, gave rescue squad members, EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters a chance catch up on training, compete against other department, and to check out some of the newest equipment available.

The Jefferson County Rescue Squad and Crewettes competed in two competitions in which the crewettes received 1st place in a cooking competition and the rescue squad received 3rd place in a people’s choice scrapbook competition.
