Holidays Unwrapped Workshop, October 29, 2013

Believe it or not, the holiday season is almost upon us! While the holiday season is supposed to be a time of family, togetherness, and joy, it doesn’t take long to feel overwhelmed and stressed over all the tasks that must get accomplished. From decorating to gift buying on a budget to spending time with friends and family- there’s a lot to get done! In an effort to help you prepare for the holiday season, the UT Extension offices in Sevier, Cocke, Hamblen and Jefferson counties have created an educational workshop called Holidays Unwrapped! In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to get organized, plan ahead, avoid holiday stress, budget, and manage your weight. You will also learn about relaxation techniques, low-cost gift and decoration ideas, as well as healthy holiday recipes!

The fee for this workshop is $10.00 and includes a Holidays Unwrapped notebook and light refreshments. The workshop in Jefferson County will be held on Tuesday, October 29th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the UT Extension-Jefferson County Office located at 1111 Lake Drive in Dandridge. For more information or to sign up, contact Melissa LaGraff at the UT Extension-Jefferson County Office- (865)397-2969/3969 or mrector@utk.edu. Pre-registration is necessary.
