Entrepreneur Jeff Rigsby celebrated the grand opening of his Bojangles’ franchise location at 690 Highway 92 South in Dandridge on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. For added excitement, guests had chances at free and discounted food and could participate in raffle drawings throughout the day.  Passers-by were also greeted with a friendly wave and welcome from the franchise’s mascot.

“We are thrilled to become part of the Dandridge community,” said Jeff Rigsby, President of BOJ OF WNC, LLC. “In addition to serving Bojangles’ distinctive array of chicken dishes, fresh buttermilk biscuits and fixin’s, our service standards will win over our guests from the moment they walk in the store or visit our drive-thru.”

The Jefferson County Post asked Mr. Rigsby, “If this was our first visit to a Bojangles’, what would you suggest we order?”  “A Cajun Filet Biscuit with Seasoned Fries and a Large Iced Tea,” said Jeff Rigsby.  “Our biscuits are made from scratch every twenty minutes.  Our chicken is marinated for twelve hours and never frozen, and our iced tea is steeped the old fashioned way.  When you come to Bojangles’ you get the southern experience.  The food here really is awesome and so are our people.”

Bojangles’ attracts customers with its proprietary, made-from-scratch fare, offering a flavor profile unlike anything in the market and breakfast served all day. The menu features southern classics with Bojangles’ one-of-a kind flavors, including fresh, never frozen, hand-breaded chicken, buttermilk biscuits, sandwiches, flavorful fixin’s and Legendary Iced Tea® steeped the old-fashioned way.

Situated right off Exit 417 on I-40, Dandridge’s Bojangles’ features drive-thru and in-store dining beginning with breakfast and continuing through dinner late into the evening. Spanning 3,800 square feet, the location carries on the Bojangles’ warm, family-friendly tradition in a spacious environment. The restaurant can seat up to 78 guests and offers free Wi-Fi as well as two flat screen televisions.

The new restaurant significantly contributes to the local economic landscape through investment dollars, construction projects and job creation, employing approximately 50 local residents.

Rigsby has opened 32 Bojangles’ restaurants in 12 years and is one of Bojangles’ largest franchisees in the system.
