Professional Fishermen Come To Jefferson County – Fishing4Reel Outdoors In Search of Youth, November 8, 2013

Lake Martin Group schoolFishing4Reel Outdoors is looking for youth of all ages in the Dandridge TN, and Jefferson County area who are interested in turning their love of fishing into more, come meet professional anglers of F4R Outdoors Friday Nov 8th 2013 from 4:00-5:30 at Jefferson County Boys and Girls Club, 218 North highway 92. And Saturday Nov 9th at 3 p.m. at The Green bridge public Ramp on Hwy 92.

F4R Outdoors, founded by Maliek Carrington of Charlotte, N.C. in 2009, is on a mission to provide underserved youth with the opportunity to meet anglers and learn more about bass fishing with a commitment to resource conservation, product cultivation, sport development, professional integrity and family values. As a bass tournament trail and association, F4R Outdoors will be partnering with the Boys and girls Club of the Jefferson county area.


“Help me empower the underserved community and the youth that some cities forget about while building a sustainable lifestyle for all people to enjoy the great outdoors,” Carrington said.


Adele Sensing Director of tourism and Jared Boyd, Unit director of the Boys and Girls club were very instrumental in getting F4R Outdoors to Jefferson County,
Our organization will bring nonresident anglers to Jefferson County, Building business in and around the lake community as well as adding tax dollars to state and city funds with over $66,000 in spending on gas, hotels, food and other items. Anglers will be coming in on Nov 4th to practice for the Nov 9th and 10th Classic event.


Your dedication to fishing and our nation’s youth is greatly appreciated,” said Russel Dunnings, director of administrative operations for F4R Outdoors after Carrington was named an ambassador for F4R Outdoors.


The Classic will be held Nov. 9-10. First place wins $8,000.
