Small Business Training Comes to Jefferson County, November 21, 2013

Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce logoSmall business people, entrepreneurs, and those considering starting a business will have an excellent opportunity to learn what it takes to be successful at a seminar being offered from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2013. The program, entitled “Getting Ready to Go to the Bank,” will help set goals and provide a sound understanding of business planning. It will also include information about how to convince a bank to lend a company money to start a venture or grow a business.

The class will be taught by Larry Rossini, Director of the Knoxville Area Tennessee Small Business Development Center, and it will be held in the main classroom of the Jefferson Memorial Hospital, 110 Hospital Drive, Jefferson City.

The TSBDC is a network of professional business consultants with 20 locations throughout the State of Tennessee. TSBDC prides itself on providing expert business advice to all types of companies including manufacturers, retailers, service providers, and professionals. In addition to seminars, the Center offers online training and provides one-on-one counseling to help address finance, marketing, operations, management, and other issues.

The Getting Ready to Go to the Bank seminar in Jefferson County is being provided in association with the Jefferson County Chamber and the Economic Development Oversight Committee.
