The Jefferson City Public Library held its 1st health fair last week. Sponsors came out and gave valuable information on educational programs: eating healthier, safety, CPR, breast cancer awareness, blood typing, and much more. During this fair patrons had the opportunity to go through the fair and take part in the screenings and gather any information they wanted on the services each vendor had to offer.  The library had many sponsors take place in helping make this health fair a success. The sponsors included Second Source Thrift Store, Sav-Mor Pharmacy, Walmart, Dr. Warren Stinson DDS., Dr. Benjamin Coffey, Medic, Safe Space, Jefferson City Police and Fire Department, Jefferson County Health Department, and many more.
