Small Business Saturday in Dandridge, TN

Following the frenzy of Black Friday, where Big Box retailers get a boost in their Holiday sales, Small Business Saturday caters to the independent retailers and offers them an equal opportunity at the post Thanksgiving spending. Saturday found the Historic Town Square in Dandridge fluttering with activity, as shoppers came looking for something unique. Several stores hosted open house events to further encourage early shopping. American Express has partnered with the Shop Small Movement to promote Mom and Pop establishments and bring the spotlight to the heart of the business community, the small business owner.
