New Market Elementary School PTO Receives Matching Funds from Modern Woodmen of America

Modern Woodmen recently presented a check to the New Market Elementary School PTO for a donation of $1,500.00

MWA actually helped them with two projects.  The first project was a “Good Neighbors Project” where Modern Woodmen helped buy portable playground equipment: two soccer goals, basketball goal, badminton set, volleyball, etc.  The second, was a “Matching Funds Project” helping the PTO raise money to purchase permanent playground equipment. The New Market Elementary School PTO has had several types of fundraisers. During the previous Fall Festival, the school raised $3,800. Modern Woodmen matched the first $1,000 bringing their total to $4,800!
