Maury Middle School Celebrates Christmas with the Arts

The Maury Middle School Hornets spent Thursday evening hosting their first Christmas with the Arts. Students and their families packed the school to enjoy the artistic talents of Maury students in all areas of creative expression. Beyond the traditional gallery viewing, which showcased the depth of talented students, there was also performance art in the form of Holiday Readings, skits, vocal and instrumental musical offerings, as well as dance. The new annual event proved that there is a plethora of creativity at the school and was a wonderful way to send off the first semester of the school year before students exited on Friday for Christmas break. Event goers were treated to refreshments and a beautiful viewing of trees, beyond the other displays of student talent. Christmas with the Arts involved a large number of students working independently and together to bring an inspiring and joyful early Christmas present to the community.
