Dandridge, TN. Christmas Parade 2013

The Town of Dandridge rang in winter in style with their annual Christmas Parade. Warmer than normal temperatures set the stage for the Saturday afternoon event and the crowd lined the street from Maury Middle School through the Historic Town Square, where Santa greeted admirers behind Town Hall following the lengthy parade. First Responders, churches and cheerleaders of every age joined dancers and prancers, tractors and horses to usher in Christmas in Dandridge. Children gathered candy that was tossed from vehicles and floats, as local football teams, scouts, elected officials and hopefuls joined the parade route. The Dandridge Christmas Parade is the final of four parades that welcome Christmas to Jefferson County.
