Fashion Forward Pastels

Pastels are going to be major for Spring 2014. A pink and silver combination is my favorite.  A pastel pink jacket worn with skinny denim jeans or a white skirt and silver shoes is stunning for spring, while peach and gray, a dynamic color duo, is also in the color forecast.

The first thing I want to know about fashion for the changing seasons is the color trend, because the latest styles may not be the best for one’s body type.  Foreknowledge of the trendy colors is a great way to achieve the fashionista look.  Buy classic styles that enhance one’s body type in the blaze of current colors.  Blazers, pencil shirts, tank tops, and blouses are always in style.  The choices will create the  appearance of having color know-how.

Some simple tips for an instant fashionable zip are to buy a bag or clutch  in the pop of color (shoes, especially, can add so much), accenting the whole outfit. Adding a belt of a pastel color can change the attire into a new look for the spring season.  Scarves are valuable in a fashion sense.  The French women have known this elegant trick for generations. During a trip to Paris long ago, I  discovered the secret to great style: scarves and belts of natural fabrics give one the look of a world-class woman of fashion.  Simply select a few in the latest color trend.
