The Jefferson County League of Women Voters’ monthly program is cancelled for Tuesday, January 14.   The featured speaker, Robin Norris, will serve as the League’s February 11 speaker.  Norris is an Academic Administrator at Tennessee Virtual Academy.  An educator for more than 16 years, Ms Norris is also a doctoral student at Carson Newman University.  She will share information and answer questions about virtual education in Tennessee.  The local community and all League members are invited to attend. This presentation will be especially informative for parents of school-age children.  The February 11 meeting  will convene at  7:00 p.m. at the Appalachian Electric Cooperative, 1109 Hill Street, New Market.
