Singer Songwriter Kirk Fleta Entertains at Dandridge Pizza and More

Patrons of Dandridge Pizza and More had a special treat on Friday evening, as Kirk Fleta played to a packed room. Fleta, who hails from Gatlinburg and is well known on the regional music circuit, offered up some great music for folks coming out to enjoy the First Friday festivities. His laid back style, strong vocals and guitar accompaniment were the perfect combination for those looking for dinner and a show. The local pizzeria has become a hub of great music, thanks in large part to Jefferson County musician and entrepreneur Mark Havely, who plays with favorite local band Grits. Havely’s contacts have brought in talent and given locals the opportunity to catch a quality show without the travel time to Knoxville or Gatlinburg. Fleta’s performance was a great example of exceptional entertainment in a local eatery. Bare Bones is Fleta’s cd and it is certainly worth giving a listen.
