Carson-Newman University License Plates Unveiled

Carson-Newman University License PlatesCarson-Newman University President Randall O’Brien and Executive Vice President and Provost Kina Mallard recently helped unveil the school’s new Tennessee license plate.  The design features Carson-Newman’s new University seal.  The specialty plate reflects C-N’s name change from “College” to “University,” a move the institution took in February 2013.  The plate is available at local county clerk’s offices across the state.
Carson-Newman University is a private, Christian liberal arts institution. Founded in 1851, Carson-Newman is located in Jefferson City, Tenn., among the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. The University has 2,045 students and offers 50 undergraduate majors, as well as bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees. The institution’s website is cn.edu.
